I spoke to the vet today and he decided it would be best if I brought Otis
in. I had read alot today and realized what I was probably dealing with
was insulinoma. The vet confirmed my beliefs. He did the blood sugar
test on Otis. He said a normal ferret blood sugar level was 120. A
ferret with insulinoma is around 80. When he checked Otis his was 37.
He said he was surprised he hadnt seizured. He has him on prednisone and
something that sounds like diozide. I want to speak with others who have
babies with this and can give me advice on how to care for him and let me
know how long thier babies have lived with this cancer.

Thanks
Lisa
