A very friendly little ferret wearing a tight bell-collar was found in a
residential neighborhood off-base in Jacksonville, North Carolina. My
sister thinks it is a female but she hasn't looked close enough yet to
tell. The ferret may also be injured; she's taking it to the vet tomorrow.

If you know anyone who is missing a little one in that area please email me
at [log in to unmask] or my sister, Jeannine, at [log in to unmask]
She was supposed to be driving up to New York to visit before school starts
but she will be delaying her visit to make sure this little ferret gets
taken care of. She will be putting up posters tomorrow if no one comes
forward.

I'm withholding a couple of identifying characteristics in the hopes that
the owner will be able to identify this little one.
