Dr. Deborah Briggs, KSU Clinical Sciences, initiated funding for the Ferret
Rabies Shedding Study.  The actual study is being conducted at CDC
Headquarters in Atlanta GA.  Donations can be sent to either Morris Animal
Foundation or the KSU Foundation Ferret Rabies Shedding Study Account.  Both
agencies are raising funds for the same study, so you only need to send a
donation to one.  Many prefer Morris Animal Foundation for all the work they
do for animals.  Be sure to mark your checks for "The Ferret Rabies Shedding
Study".  I think there is a minimum on Morris if it is to be designated to a
specific study.  You may want to check on the amount.  If there is a minimum
and your contribution is less, then sending it to the KSU Foundation Ferret
Rabies Shedding Study Account should ensure it will be used for the study.
