Hello

It's Karen from the UK again. Thanks to everybody who wrote regarding Iams
Kitten v. Totally Ferret. Everybody said they were mixing both, some said
it helps with the cost as well.

The thing is that TF is a lot chaper than Iams Kitten if I buy it in a 20
kg bag. The 20 kg cost 43.48 pounds while 20 kg of Iams would cost me
70.00 pounds if I bought it in 7.5 kg bags. That's approx. 40.00 dollars
difference. Is TF a lot more expensive in the US? More expensive than
Iams Kitten?

I'm sorry that I'm starting the old "food debate" again but to be quite
honest I didn't pay that much attention when Tf and Iams were discussed in
the past because I never thought that we'd ever be able to get TF over
here. So I didn't want to hear all the good praises about Tf if I wasn't
able to give it to my kids ever.

So if you were in my shoes with TF being cheaper than Iams, would you just
feed TF? I thought it might be nutritionally balanced *for* ferrets
whereas Iams really is nutritionally balanced for kittens. I know Iams is
really good but thought TF might be that little bit better for ferrets.
All my ferrets *love* Iams so I don't think I would have problems putting
them back on it if I ever needed to.

Thanks to all who've replied and are replying to this post.

Best wishes to everybody
from Karen
