I decided to give the ferrets some variety, so I left the clear plastic
tube hanging over the coffee table, with each end on the floor.
 
So yesterday when I get home from work, I found Princess in the tube on
top of the table, fast asleep.  She stayed there for most of the evening,
occasionally stretching and scratching.
 
She is a timid little critter, but seems to think that inside a tube is
security, even if it is a clear tube, totally exposed to the room and
daylight, and has no blanket.
