I'm not a vet, but as BIG mentioned, some have been known to prescribe DES
for incontinent dogs - my Dobie had this problem and DES worked just fine
for him.  I would assume the dosage for a Doberman would not be the same as
for a ferret, and maybe it's not healthy for a ferret, I don't know, but it
has been used successfully in dogs.
