Uggghh. Why do those ferrets fight so much?

I have two ferrets, one is seven months and the other is about 12 weeks now.
It seems like all they want to do is fight. Well, thats not really true,
the younger of the two seems to fight a lot. The older one is more passive
and less interested in fighting and more interested in playing and sleeping.

Is this normal for the younger to fight this way? Do you think he will get
over it with age and wisdom? I am just worried about the long-term comfort
of our older ferret.

Any help would be wonderful.

Thanks.

Chris
