A good ferret book for you Japanese vets would be Biology and Diseases of
the ferret by James G Fox ISBN 0812111397 I found it after looking though
the Washington State U Library catalog.  Hopes that helps.
 
I was at an Eagle HHardware store and notice some tubes that would be much
better that dry tubes.  They were sold in 10' sections.  i think they were
meant for sewer or drainage pipes or something.  they are black and made of
hard ribbed plastic with slots in them.  The 10' sections were under $5 and
you could get T connectors so you could cut on section and make a nice sized
pipe for you fuzzies.
