I know its sad but I have to agree.  He waited until his mommie came
home to say goodbye.  I know it may not be any comfort now, but in time,
it will.  10 years is AMAZING for a ferret.  you were really lucky to
have the time that you did with him and I think it's really a sweet way
to go.  At least you got to say goodbye....
