Hi,
Lisa..I 'm glad you found Clara. Here's a tip.
 
What I do is open my windows from the top down.  I only have short curtains
so the ferrets can't climb them and I never leave anything near a window
that a ferret can climb up on.  This way the ferrets can get some fresh
air, but can't reach the open window.
