Target stores sell a vegetable bin that makes a great ferret litter pan.
These are stackable plastic, but very low in the front and with about 10
inch high side and back walls.  There are no breather openings in the
walls, which probably makes it a pretty poor veggi bin, but it's terrific
for ferrets.  The plastic is slick, easy to keep clean, doesn't stain, and
last for years.
 
They seem only to be available a couple of times a year, so I regularly
check for them and buy a couple each time I find them.  They come in
colors, but I always get white, as it's the easiest to see when it needs
cleaning.  The price runs around $2.50 or $3.00.
