Hey,

Sad to announce there was a case of distemper in a 6 month old kit in
Gainsville,Florida. The kit then went to a College Vet then a private Vet
somewhere between there and Sebring,Florida. The ferret passed away at the
Vets' office. He never did show the classic signs.A Shelter in Sebring
kept the kit for a time, after it was ill. Here,I was told, precautions
were taken.(gloves, aprons & sprays) If you want further info i will be
happy to share this further,offline.

This is a Tragic, Scarey story & i hope it reminds us all to make sure
all our pets are u/t/d on all Vaccinations. The poor owner is suffering,
terribly. RIP our poor lil guy.......

With Love,
Tara
