So, I suspect they might be products not used for ferrets, but just in case: http://www.fda.gov/Safety/Recalls/ucm340669.htm As people who feed raw chicken often also mention given how common salmonella is turning out to be in supermarket chicken when better testing approaches are used: unlike humans most HEALTHY ferrets have some resistance to Salmonella, though it is just as hard to treat in them and just as nasty when they do get it.
