I just wanted to share a positive incident with the list & anyone
pondering pet insurance for their fuzzies. We have the pet insurance for
our 5 fuzzies...and recently our 3 year old had adrenal surgery...we had
seen a few postings on the list before about the insurance, but we weren't
sure since this was our first "claim" and we didn't know if our claim
would be accepted or rejected...

I'm very happy to say the almost the whole claim was paid: the total was
$631.23 (ultrasound/surgery/anesthesia & tests) the insurance covered
$470! We have a $50 deductable, and there was a fee of about $4 they
wouldn't cover...and the total submitted was about $55 over the total
allowed, but still-we're very happy to be getting anything back. We have
had two expensive non-insured incidents with past fuzzies & decided to
give the insurance a try..(an anemic (unknown cause & only a few months
old ) and a diabetic at almost 4 years old).

Unfortunetly it does not cover routine shots, but I'm happy we have it
now & wish we had gotten it sooner!!
