A ferret friend called me today to say that the Delaware County SPCA in
Media, southwest of Philadelphia, has six ferrets.  There were three
yesterday and three more came in today.  The SPCA wouldn't give her any
specific information about them over the phone.
 
I will try to check on these ferrets tomorrow (Wednesday) and post more
about them.  I was thinking I might adopt one or two, but my daughter
told me this evening that she may need me to take back her two ferrets if
she cannot keep Pixie from pooping on her rug (she is in an apartment).
 
It is possible that I could keep some ferrets here for anyone who was
absolutely going to come get them from me.  For a few weeks, we will have
an empty room available as an extra ferret room where I could quarantine
them.
 
Both the SPCA and I are easy to reach by I-95 and 476 (the Blue Route).
