The ferret went in for adrenal surgery yesterday. The vet said it was
the largest adrenal gland he had ever removed. Gratefully, the right
gland showed no signs. He checked out her other areas to be sure
nothing seemed out of normal, including the intestines to look for
any blockages. He found nothing. He also checked to be sure the spay
was complete, since her vulva was so enlarged. It was. Once the
adrenalectomy takes hold and we start seeing some results, I guess
we'll see if that makes a difference on the frequent pooping.
