Well Gabby had quite a day yesterday (Friday). He went to the vet and got
his rabies and distemper shots. We also found out that he has ear mites
which he's on medicine for. I was curious, I asked the vet how he could
have gotten ear mites. His response was that ferrets usually pick them up
from their mothers. Gabby's been away from his mother for at least a month
now so is there some other way he could have picked them up? Also, does
anyone know at what age Marshall Farms ships kits? When we bought Gabby he
was from a new shipment so I'm trying to pinpoint his age as closely as
possible. Gabby also got his very first rice box to dig in. He *loves*
it. When we first put him in it he loved it so much he got upset when my
husband put his hand in. I think he was afraid we were going to take it
away from him. Someone posted about using a twin size Vellux blanket cut
into 1/4's for bedding. I bought a blanket yesterday and looking at it, it
seems like 1/4's are so huge for one little boy. Did I misunderstand or
would he really end up with a huge blanket? Thanks! :)
