Sorry I can't remember the name of the person who asked the question, I
already deleted that days newsletter. Someone asked about a ferret loosing
hair and having blackheads on his tail. My male ferret has that problem.
I e-mailed the CDFA and followed thier suggestion. I gave him a bath as
usual and then dipped his tail into a solution of Avon's Skin So Soft and
water. They said the problem was ingrown hairs. That was a little over a
week ago and he is already growing hair back. Make sure the problem is
confined to his tail, though. Hair loss in other places could be a very
serious problem. Everyone give a love to their fert monsters for me. I'm
praying for the sick and injured ferrets and to the ones who have gone to
the Rainbow Bridge.
