General question to everyone but particularly to shelters.

Has anyone seen the following reaction?

Almost exactly two weeks following vaccination with IMRAB the ferret
becomes extremely lethargic; quits eating and drinking; weakness to the
point that it can hardly walk; followed in some cases by black tarry
stool, slight fever, chills, congestion and then in two cases death.

We observed our first nearly a year ago. The pathology report found
nothing abnormal. Since then, we've had three more; one of which died
and the other two recovered - treated with amoxicillin, Sulcrafate, lots
of 'force feeding and hydration',

We are now seeing our fifth, vaccinated almost exactly two weeks ago.
Considering the number of ferrets we handle in the shelter it may be
coincidence, but the consistent two week figure makes me suspicious.
