Yes, Pam, I too saw the "bad press" given to our beloved fuzzies in the
Sunday comics, and thank you for giving a response address. I hope everyone
will write. But it's not the first time I've found "dumb stuff" coming out
of our friend "Mark". Obviously he's "low budget" and doesn't have a
research dept!

Regarding the post from someone wishing to dictate who may post what on the
FML, I cannot agree. In my opinion it's a public forum for disseminating
information. I too have my favorite topics. A mere flick of the spacebar
and anything I'm not interested in can be made to go away. It's like
complaining about a bad TV program. If you don't like it, why are you
watching?

When an emergency arises, if people are afraid to post, how are we going to
know? Those who do not wish to respond to a crisis have the right to go
guilt-free through life. But shelter people give unselfishly of themselves
for the well-being of the fuzzies 24 hours a day, and for us to criticize
them for saying "I'm at the end of the rope and hanging onto the knot by my
teeth"... Well, it makes my heart hurt.

I've personally crabbed to Bill about MY pet peeves on the list. And then
kept quiet. He does a terrific job, and I don't feel he needs a committee
deciding what is suitable for publication.

So, for anyone who has a 'mergency - tell us about it - we REALLY DO want to
know. And for anyone who doesn't, (want to know) you can edit with your
spacebar.

Warm fuzzy thoughts to all,

Georgia
