Re:  Toilet paper tubes and ferrets
I've heard stories of ferrets playing with toilet paper tubes, getting their
heads caught, and suffocating.  I slit my tubes lengthwise (all the way down
the length of the tube) to keep this from happening to my guys

As far as I know, this is illegal.   I've never heard of it being done here.
