To the anonymous poster who asked ...  If any of you have any suggestions of
what has worked for you in covering the cage floors/ramps ...
 
I bought two kinds of carpet for my cage.  The first type was a runner that
I used for the ramps because it was easier to cut to size.  Then I bought a
regular scatter rug that fit the dimensions of my cage.  From the hardware
store I got these little plastic ties -- they look and work like the ties
that come with garbage bags, but they are much stronger.  With a hammer &
nail, I made holes in the piece of carpet to put the tie through and then
put the ties all around the edges of the carpet, securing it to the side of
the cage.  I then cut off the excess piece of tie off as close as possible.
