I received a gift basket from Hannah's Baskets [log in to unmask]
sent by Judi Clapp. It just keeps giving and giving. I've left the
cellophane wrapped basket on the floor all this time. The ferrets have
thrilled at digging all the toys and things out of it. Now they crawl
in and play. They scratch at the basket and the cellophane. They
thoroughly love it.

There's something more. I had to put my last personal ferret to sleep
yesterday. Felix had very advanced lymphoma and probably weighed six
pounds with three pounds of that being tumors. He loved life right
up until the end. He loved playing in this gift basket. It was the
sweetest thing and made me cry with joy that he was getting this much
enjoyment out of something toward the end of his life. The Giving Tree
just keeps on giving and I am forever grateful.
