Hi, being the Master of quick thinking and timing *grin*, I was thinking
about that arguement a while ago about whether ferrets have been
domesticated longer than cats..  Now, I know nothing about history and
times and things, so this is merely a thought, please don't jump on me
about ignorant of it all :)
 
Ferrets have been domesticated 'longer' than cats, they were not
domesticated 'earlier' than cats..
 
The egyptians domesticated cats, *but* how long for?  Were those
domesticated cats then passed to our early culture, or did that
domestication die out with the egyptians, to be reborn in our early
culture?
 
I was thinking, if the egyptians domesticated the cat, say near the end of
thier culture, then it was lost and then we re-domesticated it, perhaps the
length of time the cat has been domesticated is less than the ferret?
 
Again, excuse my ignorance of history and timelines.. heheh.
