I for one will not donate anymore to the DMK rescue-- we have never
been told the whole story ( although it was promised) we have never
been give an accounting and as contributers we certainly deserve such
legally and morally-- as a non profit all records are a matter of
public record and are required to be open for review.

Lori mentions vaguely vaccination costs.. but the vaccinations, spays,
etc have been taken care of per contract by the receiving shelters..
WE have not received any compensation from any fund to date.. SOS has
gratiously helped me out.. but not because they are Ohio girls because
I asked for HELP to update vaccinations.

When and if the Ohio rescue site is updated with full details and all
shelters involved are recognized I will see what I can do.

Lori-- the IRS will expect a very accurate and detailed accounting
this year since your donations and expenses are so large.. expect an
audit.. and prepare now.. They don't mess around when investigating
non-proffits.. keep every receipt and make sure you print up a year-end
accounting that is available to the public upon request. ( consider
this my request) otherwise.. you are looking at a very hard time
explaining the situation.

I am grateful for my Ohio girls.. but something smells incredibly
fishy..
