I'm not sure where you are in Minnesota but maybe this will help.  I live
in Bayfield, WI and there's a really good vet near here that takes great
care of my three weezul girlz.  She's very ferret knowledgeable and my
girlz & I think she's great!  her staff is great too and they have taken
really excellent care of my fuzzballs when they've stayed overnight &
sometimes longer...
 
She's worth contacting... and she has a toll free number! Hope this is
close enough to help you... you'll need to ask for specific directions but
it's not difficult to find once you're in the area.  Feel free to contact
