I've managed to catch up on school and family requirements (and wade
through a ton of Email) enough so I can concentrate on starting up the
Fellow Ferret Geeks reference list. Sometime Friday, you should get an
Email telling ou that you are part of the list as well as the first issue
of the list. That is, if I do everything correct. You never know, I
could do it right. ;-)

I will be away from my Email for the weekend while visiting a friend, but
will be back Monday. Sometime in the near future (maybe next week) I will
have surgery to repair torn tendons and muscles in my right thumb (Hey KC
people--same thumb injury you saw. I told you it was bad, yet I showed up
anyway. See what the offer of Mexican food will do?). I just decided that
when I couldn't pick up a dinner plate it was time to fix it. Actually,
it was when I couldn't drive in little treenails while planking my 100%
completely scratchbuilt 1:32 scale plank-on-rib HMS Beagle [1833 version],
which is the only thing that keeps me sane, so is far more important than
eating. Turns out I needed the thumb for more than just spinning (now I
know what chimps have to go through when picking up a pencil). So, I will
become a left hand typist for a few weeks, which should negatively impact
the number of words I can produce (no comments on my love life, ok?).
Elizabeth has promised to type some stuff in for me, so she might tell a
story or two on her own when she has the time (Fireman-Paramedic school has
her VERY busy).

Just expect my Email responses to be somewhat slow for the next few weeks.
