Any suggestions to help a stressed/depressed ferret.
 
History of ferret:
 
A male neutered sable, about 3-4 years old.  Was given to a shelter with
a cage mate and the cage mate passed away recently.  He is very stressed
and depressed.  He was only at the shelter for about a month.  The vet
checked him out and is AOK and negative.  He sleeps a lot and eats very
little also he is a little weak in the hind legs (please remember he was
checked by a vet).
 
Any suggestions will be greatly appreciated.
