That is possible I suppose, but I think the real story is.... the ferrets
communicate to their own home planet/leaders through the internet, by way of
special commands and codes that we humans have no clue exist. They laugh at
our "internet access" and ways of communicating with each other, as they
abandoned our methods eons ago for far more intelligent and sophisticated
ways. (Sort of like comparing The Flintstone's to Star Trek.)

I have two ferrets caged very near my computer (dangerous I know, but I
figure I am at their mercy anyway) and they often sit watching the computer
screen over my shoulder. Sometimes I swear I can hear them "giggle".

I doubt we really have anything to worry about. If computers and/or our
communications were a threat to them, we'd have been "cut off" a long time
ago. As I suggested above, they are the ones "allowing" us the use of
computers anyway. (Sort of like 'letting their children have their harmless
toys'.) It is also their way of always keeping tabs on "what we are up to"
as they check all our files and our communications (e-mails) when we leave
the house.

If anyone out there truly believes they can "out smart" a ferret, I will
gladly loan them a new rescue here named Snowball (intend to change that).
He is a DEW, beautiful, oh wait, he has a few dark hairs that make two rings
on his tail so I suppose technically he is a silver. This boy has me beat
hands-down as far as intelligence. Don't know how I have managed to keep
him "confined" to the cage/house at all. Snowball will change anyone's mind
about who is the smarter/more intelligent life form. :-(

Hugs to the fuzzies
Trish
