Dear Greg,
I understand your predicament.  As a single mother who could never pass by a
stray or injured animal I've been there numberous times myself.  Luckily I
found a wonderful vet that allowed me to make payments(3 or 4 post dated
checks)!  Your budget may feel a bite but I always thought it was worth
it!!!  Get on that phone and start calling every vet in the book.  There has
to be one that cares more for the animals than the money!  I am no longer
poverty stricken and have since moved another 30 miles from good ole' doctor
Cook but I still go the distance when I need a vet!!!
