NO NONO NO NO NO NO NO DO NOT CUT HER TAIL OFF!!!!!!!!!!!
 
Our Shiva had this problem...
 
1. Get Selsum Blue antifungal shampoo...use it 2-3 times a day
2. Rub spot with Peroxide
3. What are you feeding her??? Cat food is NOT ferret food!!!  Get some
   HIGH QUALITY ferret food...
4. Is your house dirty?  Are her bed linens dirty?  Keep everything really
   clean!!!
5. Antibiotics DO WORK!!!!!!!!
6. Do not let her lick or touch her tail!!!!
