The only shelter I know of in Erie is Debbie Dye's Ferret Rescue.  She is
listed on the AFA shelter list on their website:

She does not have internet access, but it does list a phone number.
 
The Pennsylvania Ferret Rescue Association has three branches that span
the state.  Chris & Tara Palaski are in Greensburg, PA and comprise our
Westmoreland County Branch, which services the western part of the state.
