Hello all

I'm new to this list and am glad I found it. As for cats and ferrets
together, I have a 2 yr old sable female, Rikki Tikki Tavi, and my parents
have a 14 lb maine coon cat, Menet (aka Moose). Shortly after getting Tikki, I
visited my parents and was curious just how the fearless kit and crazy cat
would interact. I let Tikki out of her cage and she proceeded to go right up
to the cat and initiate play. From that moment on, the two have been great
friends. Whenever I visit my parents, I no sooner am in the door with Tikki
than Moose appears, meowing and waiting for me to let his little friend out.
The two are absolutely hilarious to watch as they chase each other around
the house, often stopping to wrestle on another. It usually ends up with
the ferret chasing the scaredy cat around until he jumps on a chair,
dangling a paw and waiting for Tikki to try and jump after it, which of
course whe does. With a quick swat (he's declawed) and a pounce, the two are
back in a heap on the ground wrestling about. I have some great pictures
of the two in action.

Tom, Karin and our problem child Tikki.
