Linetone bribery works well.  Only way to get Monster to be a lap-ferret.
However, if all else fails ... my parents have a 50lb bitch who LOVES being
a 1/2-lap dog (She doesn't fit in many laps!) who would be quite happy to
oblige.  Want to borrow her?<G>.
