I have posted a few times, the last one was to find a good home for one of
my sisters sick ferrets, well, now I need some advice, the same sister went
out of town thursday and brought me her two little ones to babysit, well,
let me just tell you that the sight that she carried into my house was sad,
beyond sad. She had them both in a small cage bedded in wood chips, I know
the poop couldn't have been cleaned for over a week, they didn't have
anywhere to lay, it was all poop, even their dishes was filled with it.
I started cleaning up the mess and found that the cage was infested with
maggots. I put them in with my guys and they didn't stop eating for I know
an hour. My husband said that there is no way she is getting them back,
and I agree. i couldn't live with myself if something happened to them.
I love my sister, I don't like her lifestyle or the way she does both her
human and fuzzy kids. She'll be back sunday, and I just don't know what to
say or how to deal with it. Is it illigal for me to keep them since they
are hers? Please help me if you have any advice please email me.
