Hair Loss Behind the Ears

Anytime there is notable hair loss, except for the tail itself, it's
time to go to the vet ASAP.  Loss of hair just on the tail is usally
accompanied by blackheads which can be treated with stridex pads and a
good scrubbing, kind of a ferret acne.  I hope that helps.
