I neglected to add in yesterday's post that Lysodren (Mitotane) should be
used only as a LAST resort, for those ferrets who are poor surgical
candidates.  Otherwise, surgery is the first, best option for adrenal
tumors.  I have had many successful adrenalectomies, and Lizzie's remaining
right adrenal does not qualify for surgery, hence the Lysodren.
