The word
Dook
is actually for a sound they make and was created by FML member Pam
Greene who created Ferret Central and more.

Of course, many, many, MANY ferret resources: help places, clubs,
shelters, activities, stores, and products began with people who were
on the FML, which is no huge surprise given its age and size.

BTW, yesterday I sent three abstracts but only one seems to have
arrived in places. Yahoo is making a pile of revisions, though, and as
a result Yahoogroups is very messed up and some other Yahoo services
are also having problems, though lesser ones. Does the FML use Yahoo?

[Moderator's note: Hi Sukie. Yous posts were received but were not
immediately inserted into the digest. There's still one more left
after today.

The FML doesn't use Yahoo!. FML distribution is via a robust commercial
service which normally charges a very considerable amount. They kindly
are donating use of their services due, in part, to a prior business
and friendship relationship and, in part, to them being nice people :-)

I purchase the other FML services such as the website. BIG]
