Hi folks,

Some of you may remember the following post (I've "condensed" it here.)

>several months ago i adopted a baby ferret from the

Well, being the sucker for biters that I am, I just couldn't resist offering
Liz my "services" as someone to take him and help him work through his
biting problems and hopefully become the sweet little boy that she knows he
is. I have been emailing her since this initial post was made and she is in
agreement for him to come here. I am so anxious to meet him and begin
working with him that I can hardly stand it!

We have discussed car travel and air travel. I am fearful of sending a
biter especially by himself on an airplane. You never know for sure how any
ferret is handled when there is no human with them, but a biter is a big
risk I think, because some curious flight person/airline employee might
decide to stick a finger through the carrier and he'll bite, of course, then
he'll wind up in the same predicament that poor Kodo is in. There is no way
I want that to happen!

So we are wondering if anyone might be travelling from the Thunder Bay
Ontario Canada area to the southern US, actually I am in Texas! If someone
were travelling even part of the way, that would help, maybe we can do a
"relay" of some sort. It won't be good for the little guy to be transferred
to so many different strangers, he's traumatized by strangers anyway, but
it's better than the risks of flying.

We are also *very* open to other suggestions too, if anyone has any.

Please reply to me and/or Liz.

Thanks,
Trish
