Fyi,

For those folks who might think I'm trying to be a Saint and condemn
everyone else who is not a Saint, if any of you have ever met me,
emailed me, talked with me, etc, you know I am FAR from a Saint. I
cuss, spit, fart, you get the picture, but if anyone takes on the
commitment of becoming a shelter, then BE ONE. I welcome anyone into
my home to visit the ferrets. All of us here do.

Animal Control cases are the worst ones- (besides hoarders and backyard
breeders) and these are the ferrets who so very much need shelters to
take them in, irregardless of age, health, whatever. I am always
terrified of picking up these ferrets. We're looking at Coccidia,
Canine Distemper, all horrible sorts of problems. But these ferrets
need knowledgeable ferret shelters more than ever. Quarantine sucks.
So do the vet bills for fecals, antibiotics and so on. I'm not on a
soap box. And I'm sure as hell not a Saint. I'm just pissed.

And as for the misspelling of the word "other" I used, my spell check
thinks it's spelled othier. Go figure.
