Well it's that time of the year again, and I wanted to remind folks to get
your flu shots (with your doctor's permission).  Besides being a lousy
illness to get ourselves, it's one of the few serious illnesses that we can
pass on to ferrets, and it can be life-threatening to them.
 
I have been certified as one of the world's most terrified people when it
comes to shots, so I can't say I look forward to this, but will do it to
protect the tiny ones.  David already got his and says, "You're a baby."
That helps.
 
Many pharmacies and grocery stores offer them at a nominal cost.
