Hi you wonderful hard-working guys and gals,
 
I recently requested anyone to send me info on Distemper and Rabies in
ferrets.  I am trying to help a member of FANG to try and figure out if her
ferret that passed recently was infected with Distemper.  More importantly I
want to do a very detailed article on both of these nasties for our
newsletter and soon.  Unfortunately only 1 person responded to me.  Thanks
Lisa from Ferret Rescue of Tidewater for responding.  I want all the info.
I can get including the gory details on symptoms so I can stress how
important vaccinations are and what an absolutely horrific death this is to
go through.  Please send info.  or point me to where I can find it.  Even
better and fantabulous would be a copy of any articles or papers you may
have already written on this subject<GG>.  Proper credit will of course be
given for whatever help you can provide me with.  The request for help is
still extended to anyone out there as well.  Perhaps the breeders or shelter
operators??  Killian, Both Pams, etc.....  THANK YOU all for any help you
can provide.  This is very important to me so please respond either here or
personal e-mail.  If FML'ers would like I can post the finished article here
upon completion.
