Actually, the reference in Parade is a bit misleading-- it lumps together
rabbits and ferrets as a single category, which together create the third
most popular pet.  So there's 5.7 million (was that the number?  can't
remember) ferrets AND rabbits, and they gave no clue as to how many of each.
Kinda boggles the mind, doesn't it?
