Ok folks; if you cant beet them join them. As my mum used to say

Someone here asked for proof that natural food is better than kibble.
Raw diet and natural food has not been a part of the diet for ferrets for
a long time, a lot of the problems with ferret is being blamed on kibble
and a lot of problems are being blamed on early neutering. But how do
we prove this wrong or right.

I have three young ferrets, two of them, Moon and Shadow are still in
tact, but have an implant from Nico Schoemaker, so they don't know they
are still in tact. LOL. Snow the third male has been castrated. These
boys get food called "Carnibest ferret", this is raw meat selected and
processed for the ferret, A friend, also has young ferrets, They also
have the implants, her ferrets get natural food, mouse etc.

All these ferrets are under strict control from Dr Hanneke Moorman and Dr
Nico Schoemaker. Hopefully in about 10 years, we can tell you what is
best, kibble, raw food or natural diet. And if the implants will stop
adrenal tumors, until then, please let everyone feed what he or she
thinks is best for his or her ferret. We have put our ferrets in the
position that they are more or less guinea pigs so that we can help to
find out what is best, but only time and good research will tell.
