This is in response to Nancy who works at a pet store that sells Marshall
Farm ferrets. I recently bought a Marshall Farm ferret from a pet store
and according to the certificate they gave me for Cosmo, he was
approximately 5 1/2 weeks when they shipped him. The certificate stated
his approximate date of birth as 1/9 - 1/15 and it was signed as shipped
on 2/25. The certificate also states he is altered & has had his first
shots. I agree that they are being shipped too early. And isn't 5 weeks
or younger toooo young to be altered & have their first distemper? I don't
support what Marshall Farms does to their pets, but I bought one because I
feel at least I "saved" one of them.
