I have a friend (who shall remain nameless) who has a very vicious male
ferret from a private breeder (who shall also remain nameless). He is
almost a year old. He was neutered at about 7-8 months of age. The latest
incident is that he bit two vet techs when he was being boarded while she
was out of town; one on the hand, the other in the face and surgery is
required. He is currently in a 10-day quarantine.

She has a 7 year old son who has been bitten several times, but, thankfully,
not seriously. There have been several other bite incidents with him too.

She is at her wits end with him and can no longer risk her child, other
children, or adults being seriously scarred by this ferret. She is willing
to adopt him to someone who knows what they're getting into and is willing
to take on the task of rehabilitating him. She is not experienced with this
(nor am I) and doesn't know what else to do. She has given me permission to
post this to the mailing list (she used to be on it) and ask for your help.

She is located in central Florida.

Please email me directly if there is anything you can do to help.

Thanks
Katharine
