I suspect there might be a couple other anime fans here--
I've been watching Bubblegum Crisis Tokyo 2040 recently, and one of the
characters, Nene, is a computer hacker.  Her incoming mail alert is a war
dancing white ferret, and when her mail displays on her computer screen,
the ferret's head pops over the sides of the mail, and finally the ferret
leaps out and drags the mail away to hide it.  Then later in the series
you see her with a white stuffed ferret hanging over the top of her
monitor, and as she rushes off to avert a crisis she picks it up and
stuffs it in her bag saying "come on, weasel, time to go!"  I'm sure
weasel was a mis-translation ;-)  If you're not an anime fan it's
probably not worth watching the whole series for this, but if you are a
fan, check it out :)
