Hi

This is a little note in praise of fostering. Since I've become a ferret
foster-parent my life has become a richer and more brilliant world. I've
met some wonderful ferrets, each with unique and distinct personalities,
totally lovable and absolutely irresistable. Knowing that I was there for
them when they were in a transitory time of need between homes makes all
the hard work worth while. If you are a dedicated person, you might
consider fostering ferrets too. Saving a little one's life is more than
just a rewarding experience. Foster-parents are an important pearl in the
knitting together of the whole comforter network of ferret helpers and
shelters out there in our communities.

So, if you're a serious furry lover, consider helping out your local
shelters. They're great people (and too often overburdened).

All our best,
Gloria
