My ferrets and I were wondering... what caused the ban in NYC? I don't
think board members would just get together and say, "lets ban ferrets".
Don't get me wrong I think it it ridiculous. Any animal can bite, but with
my experience with all animals, it that ferrets harm people less than any
other animal. I have been bit to the point of bleeding by hamsters,
gerbils, dogs, cats, birds, and snakes. Never has a fert bit me that hard
(although untrained kit nip harder than mine do). I know ferrets can, but
so can we as humans. I would say ferrets are less likely to if they are
treated right. The only harm my Zeppy does to me is when we are playing
and its his nails. But its ALWAYS my fault. He doesn't sink his nails or
teeth into, but if We are playing and I move fast I might get a scratch.
Always my fault. So what started this mess????
