Little Dempsey didn't understand why his owner gave him up, and he went
into shelter shock. He was severely depressed and developed an ulcer.
SOS funds helped to pay for his medical bills. Dempsey's now a very
happy and loving boy with a second chance at happiness!

Surrendered by a military dad who wasn't giving him enough time, Max
was a sweet and cuddly boy who developed heart problems. He stopped
playing and just lay on the floor, watching the world go by. Two days
after getting meds, with help from SOS, Max was back to his bouncy,
affectionate self!

Two sad stories, but with happy endings for Dempsey and Max - and you
all made it possible! By purchasing raffle tickets you have a direct
effect on the life of a shelter ferret.

The continuing economic crisis, the numerous natural disasters that
struck throughout the United States, and terrible disease outbreaks in
shelters have all taken an awful toll this year. More ferrets than ever
are in urgent need of rescue, medical care and safe housing. Here's a
way you can help! Every ticket you purchase goes to help ferrets and
shelters in need all over the United States.
